A couple of days ago, my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, even Tiktok were off the pace. It was indescribable torture folks!

For okay, visualize this! You log onto Facebook and what’s supposed to be your present newsfeed is displayed as twelve hours ago… Apparent notifications popping up as yesterday’s and as if insult to an already aching heart, your stories unfathomably disappear like someone else is in the driver’s seat of your account. Folks, I was starting to think I’m a heavyweight, totally being hacked!

Because for three good sunlights, I couldn’t accurately track my Facebook activity for instance, and I was losing it! Especially for even when I flipped majority webpages and caressed YouTube, all research was simply basic, with no clear story on how in the bloody hell, I could correct my social media display time and just be normal… Or correcting time on mobile…

And tell you what? This shit is rare man! So just for the future, if you ever experience it, I hope you refer to this blog. For your hommie might have just discovered the antidote to the seldom. (lol)

Step 1: Log out of all your social media Accounts

This is pretty simple, you discover your social media time zone is playing hide and seek, just disappear out of all the darned accounts.

Step 2: Restart your phone

Another piece of cake! Press the power button and… reboot.

Step 3: Turn on your location

Like this ladies and gentlemen

Step 4: Click on settings and automatically set your time

This allows the phone to set time in relation with where you’re. It also automatically syncs with all apps including all your social!(Make sure you’ve and internet connection though)

A little screnshot when I automatically set my time

Step 5: And lastly log back into your accounts and grace folks with your presence. (this time with an accurate time zone)

Notice the difference? The correct time is now displayed compared to my previous post, which was actually posted on the same day, just hours before, but displayed as 2 days ago

And that should solve your headache. You’re welcome!
